RECOGNITION OF FOREIGN QUALIFICATIONS

BENEFITS

Please, note!

1. List of categories of individuals eligible for a 50 % discount* on the recognition service fee in the regular mode (60 calendar days):

1.1. citizens classified as Category 1 persons affected by the Chornobyl disaster;
1.2. persons with Group I or Group II disabilities;
1.3. children with disabilities under the age of 18;
1.4. orphans and children deprived of parental care.

Under the recognition service provided in the regular mode (60 business days), the fee for the comparative analysis of study programme content, where required as part of the recognition procedure, is payable in full. However, a 50% discount is applied to the fee for the remote application submission service.


* the discount is granted upon presentation of the original document confirming eligibility for the relevant preferential category and applies only to services provided in respect of documents whose holders belong to one of the categories listed above.

2. List of categories of individuals eligible for a 15% discount** on the recognition service fee in the regular mode (60 business days):

2.1. combat veterans;
2.2. persons with war-related disabilities;
2.3. children of combat veterans (under 18 years of age);
2.4. unmarried children holding the status of family members of a person who died while defending Ukraine;
2.5. a surviving spouse who has not remarried and holds the status of a family member of a person who died while defending Ukraine.

Under the recognition service provided in the regular mode (60 business days), the fees for the comparative analysis of study programme content, where required as part of the recognition procedure, and for the remote application submission service are payable in full.


** the discount is granted only for services provided in respect of documents relating directly to these individuals and upon presentation of the originals of the following documents:

for persons referred to in item 2.1: a Combat Veteran Certificate and/or an extract from the Unified State Register of War Veterans and/or the relevant digital document in the Diia mobile application (e-Veteran Certificate);

for persons referred to in item 2.2: a War-Related Disability Certificate and/or an extract from the Unified State Register of War Veterans and/or the relevant digital document in the Diia mobile application (e-Veteran Certificate);
for persons referred to in item 2.3: the child's birth certificate and one parent's documents confirming the parent's combat veteran status (a Combat Veteran Certificate and/or an extract from the Unified State Register of War Veterans and/or the relevant digital document in the Diia mobile application (e-Veteran Certificate));

for persons referred to in items 2.4-2.5: an extract from the Unified State Register of War Veterans issued no earlier than one month before the date of application to the State-Owned Company "Information and Image Centre".

3. Educators (preschool and school teachers with more than five years of teaching experience in Ukraine) who require recognition to continue working in their profession at preschool and/or general secondary education institutions and who submit their applications independently are eligible for a 50% discount*** on the recognition service fee in the regular mode (60 business days).

The fee for the comparative analysis of study programme content, where required as part of the recognition procedure, is payable in full.

The fee for the remote application submission service is payable in full.


*** the discount is granted upon personal submission of documents by educators and applies only to services provided in respect of documents relating directly to those individuals.

4. Persons recognised as refugees or persons in need of subsidiary protection or temporary protection in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Refugees and Persons in Need of Subsidiary or Temporary Protection" are eligible for a 50% discount**** on the recognition service fee in the regular mode (60 business days).

The fee for the comparative analysis of study programme content, where required as part of the recognition procedure, is payable in full.

The fee for the remote application submission service is payable in full.


**** the discount is granted upon presentation of the original document confirming eligibility for the relevant category (a Refugee Certificate, a Certificate of a Person in Need of Subsidiary Protection, or a Certificate of a Person Granted Temporary Protection) and applies only to services provided in respect of documents whose holders are recognised as refugees or are persons in need of subsidiary protection or temporary protection.

5. Persons referred to in items 1.1-1.3 of item 1 and in item 2 are entitled to priority service.
