The recognition procedure begins after the following conditions are met:
- the full package of documents is presented according to the List of Documents;
- a specialist of the Center has verified the original documents during the applicant’s personal visit or remote submission forms;
- the recognition procedure is paid in full.
Compulsory payment (administrative fee) to the goverment budget for the foreign educational document recognition procedure is the following:
- for individuals is 51 UAH;
- for legal entities is 85 UAH.
Solution of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MES of Ukraine) term is 45 days and delivery from receipt of all necessary documents, subject to the action (additional conditions) required for the procedure of recognition, including>>

Please pay attention! The fastest possible type of accelerated recognition procedure is determined by the specialists after the applicant has submitted a package of documents.
The term to provide for the applicant the decision on the recognition of an educational document may be extended until all the documents and information necessary for the recognition procedure have been received.
In case of an extension of the deadlines or a suspension of the recognition procedure for reasons beyond the control of the Center, the money paid for the service, is not returned.

Money paid for the recognition procedure is not returned in case:
- learning the fact of unreliability information, specified in the submitted documents on education for the recognition procedure (nonconfirmation the fact of training and delivery of educational documents);
- failure actions (additional conditions) of the owner, necessary for education documents recognition of the owner;
- if the result of the procedure is the refusal to recognize educational document (and the applicant is sent a message stating the grounds of such decision).

The list of members of Hague Convention (1961) Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (documents on education are certified by the Apostille stamp, which confirms the authenticity of this document) can be found via the link>>.
The Apostille stamp will significantly speed up the procedure for recognition of educational documents (including documents issued in the countries which Ukraine has bilateral or multilateral agreements containing provisions on the recognition of documents without additional certification).
All other states not referred to Hague convention and which don’t have bilateral or multilateral treaties with Ukraine provide the procedure of consular legalization of educational documents issued on their territories.

However, there are isolated cases when a delay is possible in the recognition procedure for reasons beyond our control. In view of this, before planning your trip to pick up the recognition documents, please make sure your documents are ready. For this purpose, please look for your registration number in the list of decisions or check your application status using the e-search system (below)
